Brands Meet Up in Europe - Feb 2019

The platform’s algorithm and policy are constantly adapting to provide better consumer experiences. In Jan 2018, the marketplace announced it’s decision in opening up its merchant marketplace. More brands are now being accepted to sell on the platform. XiaoHongShu also opened their first offline store where it integrates it’s core value, content in the APP community, to offline shopping experience. XiaoHongShu hit its 100 million users milestone and received a series D investment led by both Alibaba and Tencent.

Recently, we see that the platform is focused on further establishing themselves as a social eCommerce player with a unique style.

Like many people said, China market is full of opportunities, but it also presents challenges as for foreign brands the market is very different with rapid changes. When speaking with brands, we often hear the following questions:
